Hi all! I'm Jean, and I live on the west coast of Canada. I have two dogs and a cat. Charley is nearly 9, a border collie-rough collie mix. Emma is my one year old yellow lab. Allie is my four year old tortie cat.
I have one adult daughter who is getting married in Austria this summer, and I work full time at a university. I've recently started volunteering at a sanctuary for senior and special needs animals, and I love it. I can't wait until I retire in 4.5 years so I can spend more time there!

The website for the sanctuary is www.saints-ca.org. It needs updating as they moved to a new location in December. A bit more current information can be found at http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/BC119.html.
