Can someone give me some good links to tell me the steps of training my dog for agility?

Check out Shyeow's links Richie. She not only shows the steps she shows how to make all the equipment for your home to practice with. She did an incredible job of making it all easy in my opinion. I will find you the links now.
i am still looking for the link on making the equipment..but check out her blog anyway. There is a wealth of information and fun right there on this topic.:D i go there just for a little mini vacation a lot of the time!;)

i know she had a post about making your own agility equipment and how to start i just cant find it yet..still looking.

Now i am getting excited to start this as the weather turns warmer. We have enough land in my yard to set up a good rpractice course. maybe we can compare notes as we go along. Anything that keeps Victor active both in his mind and body is a good idea. He wants to work and he wants to learn as well. I wish you luck with Cooper for i know he is the same;)

my agility friend wrote the ' D coolest sport in town - Agility' in a fun way (that should be the way for agility) and his dog still the best over here so far i hv seen.. :) there are some links in his blog too for agility.

i think for easy start up.. get your dog JUMP first.. :D

The main thing to learn in agility is focus first. Once you've got your dog fully focused on you then you can get started on equipment. You learn other things like shoulder work ect. The dog follows the movement of your shoulders while running the coarse.

I don't recommend that you train completely at home for your first agility dog. Even I, a person who has been competing in agility for eight years, am having a hard time training a dog in agility completely at home.
