Hi I recently got a dog she is a chow mix with some lab and German Shepard (we think) we also have another dog and long-haired Chihuahua, a male. Anyway training our female dog is NOT going well I spent 4 days on kennel training her and now I have started letting her out well she STILL pees and poops on the floor, and before that I was taking her out every hour and now I'm taking her out every two hours (except at night and then I'm taking her out first thing in the morning). I'm letting her out now to eat, go potty and play with our other dog for at least 30min 2 or 3xs a day.... I don't know what else to do. Popping her doesn't work, sticking her nose in it and popping her doesn't work.. and I take her out ammediatly after her getting in trouble to show her where she is suppose to go... please someone tell me what I'm doing wrong!!!!

The first thing not to do...quit popping and rubbing her nose in the accidents. You are not teaching her to be housebroken, only increasing the possibility of submissive peeing. Puppies do not know they are not supposed to pee or poop in the house. They go when they need to, not out of spite. Keep a constant eyeball on her. If she starts to squat, grab her and put her outside, preferably in the same spot, and always use the same word or phrase so she will connect elimination with this verb-age. Take her out after every meal, drink of water, nap time, and playtime. She will eventually get the idea what you are asking. Also make sure to clean any accidents with natures miracle. Have patience, it takes time. Some dogs catch on faster than others. Keep her in a confined area when you are unable to watch her, and close to you as possible when you can keep an eye on her. Most accidents that happen are actually our fault, we weren't watching close enough. Mordy has a great post on here about housebreaking.

They sell it at petsmart. It elimanates the smell and stains from the floor. Even if we can't smell the urine after cleaning with most products, the dog can. Natures miracle removes the smell completely helping to stop the dog from using that spot again.
