I have a chihuahua puppy who is a little over 4 months old. We trained her to go in the litterbox and we were accident free for a whole month. Then a couple weeks ago she started having accidents...but they don't look like accidents. She'll go right beside her litterbox or she'll look right at us and start to squat. She seems like a rebelling little kid lol Could anyone enlighten me as to what might be happening or wrong?

It could be that she is just waiting too long to get to the box, and can't quite make it into it if her bladder is too full. Maybe you could start taking her to the box every 20 minutes or so, or after play time and/or food/water times.
Keep a tighter eye on the pup and don't let it out of your sight. Basically start from square one on the training. It takes several months for most dogs to get it. I doubt she is rebelling though. JMO.

Do you keep the litter box really clean, sometimes they won't go where it is already dirty.

Yes, we learned early that she wont go in the litterbox unless it's clean.

May i ask why you have decided to use a box and not get her to go outside, you could also be having probs with her bacause she is near the teenage stage where she forget all and you have to start again

We litter trained her because I live in Winnipeg... IE extremely cold winters, way to cold for a baby chihuahua.
