View Full Version : panting too much?
well tonight i feed yoshi and turns out my brother had feed her before i got home without telling me. but like the little piggy she is she ate it all. since then she's been laying around on the floor and panting. she usually doesn't pant unless she's been playing pretty hard. aside from choosing the floor over the bed she hasn't been acting any different. and she'll get on the bed if i call her. she'll play and she'll get excited when i take her outside. should i be worried about this or am i just being paranoid.

She's just full. I know after a big meal I feel like sitting around panting for a while. As long as things are normal on the other end of her, don't worry too much.

If your dog has over eaten, don't try getting her to play. Just let her relax and rest.
One of my Newf's got the door open to my cold room one day, opened up the plastic container I keep the bag of dog food in and pulled out the 40lb bag which I had just opened and ate the entire bag. Dogs are scavengers and can and will eat until they can't eat any more:)
She looked like she was pregnant her belly was so swollen. I put her into a room by her self (while thinking about having her stomach pumped) and just let her sleep it off. My biggest fear is bloat...any how with the rest she was fine. I put her on a mandatory fast for the next 24 hours.

Yes she did...she is a gluton. I really have to make sure the door to the cold room is completely closed, tight and the container lid is on tight with the arms over to lock it. She is very crafty...I just hope she never learns to open the fridge door:eek:
