i am not finished..i tried hard but there is simply no way. i thought for sure i had allowed enough time. I still need to fix a fewt things from the stop light..the front foot in the shade of the collie (just needs shading) and the peanut gallery..I tried though..i tried real hard to get done:rolleyes:
I have some close ups of sections in my gallery..when i have it shot down it will all be that clear.

I'm so ashamed of mine... :( I'm going to keep on practicing my sketching and I'll post a new different one for my new (and late :D) drawing for Year of the Dog. Anyways... a couple months ago I little cartoon drawing in my sketch book, but lost it like a week after.

But when I was looking at my two drawings that I did a week ago, absolutely ashamed of them (when I was drawing it I thought it was good), I decided to go search for the sketch book. I found it... so here is my mediocre entry:

Richie why in the world would you not be proud!!!! did you see the blue dog thread i posted yours are very very good!!! as to time to treat..hehe i agree whole heartedly. In fact because i am not a parade of one (which really would have made me feel small) i am cooking my dogs their very own pep. pizza and they don't have to watch me eat 90 percent of it either..they will each get half. We are having a party here. Short of champagne..fancy clothes..a cool gallery and cheeeeeese..this is the best we can do. Thank you Richie from the bottom of my heart!!! i thought your drawings were excellent especially for your age. The one of coop with the ball is very good..perportions angles..all. my son won't let me hug me because he says it is creepy but a little typed one might be ok (((hugs))) and thanks again:D

Andrew that is an awesome picture. Worthy of framing and selling. I am so glad you joined our gallery parade..:D ;) :)

I love this picture. Does it not just make you automatically think of a dog that is having so much fun? It captures Precious when she is really being Precious. Her and her beloved stuffed hamburger. I know she looks kinda crazy, but that's my baby... She is crazy (in a good way.)

if you put all the time together about two weeks at the most but that is becuause Acrylic is a pain to work with (in my honest opinion. Ever color has to be gone over and over to get a dense good solid look and that is with opaques..but heck it is cheap and durable..the drawing part is easy for me...i would just stick with pencil and ink but i love color so.

you did a grand job sunnypup!!!!! they do inspire us don't they? i miss daisy too. I put a basset in my painting in her memory.it doesn't look like her but i was thinking of her when i painted it..had to go with som darker colors cause i was already in trouble with too much white ....and Hyia drew u one too i will have to post it tonight..

your eyes just take me away they are sooo good! i think quite a few people are still posting so you will not be the last..i have been most lookin forward to seeing your work..i always am! What a sweeeeeet baby. When the goldens would be born at kennels i thought they were names so well for they just shone like the real thing. I believe they have that true baby look..like baby mallards do. pointers look like pointers, at least to me they don't have that sweet baby face at all. Thank you so much for joining the Chazhound first ever Gallery Show!!!! Not many people joined us but that wasn't the point..it is our celebration in our own expressions and i have enjoyed each and every one. Your all so special in so many different ways.
I Love that Santa brought your pencils..what kind did you get? I favor derwents (i think that is how to spell it) santa brought me a watercolor pencil set one year...i will pm you a pic i did with them for my uncle..it is something he requested i draw i don't know why......are you working on anything new right now? i have to go back to rocks arrrrrgh i have a request line as long as my arm. Wish it was anything but rocks..paper is so wonderful;) clean and light:D
just wait til Grammy sees you pencil drawing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi!

Midas is perfect name for golden retriever puppy isn´t it? One of best.

Santa brought Derwent Artist Colour Pencils (just like I wished). I was using Derwent (like 8 years old :)) before but this new ones are perfection of colour pencils.

It is nice to see other people´s work not just artists because for some I know they will really improve and there is a lot of talent here.

Smkie it seams you did it at least in my eyes, Year of the dog gallery seams to be success.

I haven't had too much of a chance to go through everything here but I did want to say that that's a phenominal painting Smkie! And Richie, your drawings are excellent. Hopefully I'll get a bit more time this weekend to go through and really look at everything everyone's contributed. It all looks very good - I just haven't had a chance to look too closely at everything yet.
