Check out the Monks' of New Skete program. www.dogsbestfriend.com

The books and videos are usually readily available at bookstores and pet supply stores, or easily ordered. They have a real understanding of dogs that will help you bond with your dog and understand HOW your dog learns.

The Monks of New Skete have a very good training program & understanding of dogs. The obedience school we go to actually goes there twice a year for seminars. We have picked up alot of great training tips there.

Now for my brag! ;) A year ago when we were there they had a professional photographer there to take pics of their shepherds for their new book, "I & Dog". They asked since we had a wide variety of breeds with us if they could take pics of our dogs for possible inclusion in the book. Of course, we all said yes. ;) The photographer took come pics during the seminar & then they asked some of us to stay after for some more pics. I am proud to say that they picked my cream standard poodle, Chloe for their book - she is on 2 pages! :)

Way to go! Now I know two dog celebrities. One of Charley's customers at his furniture store raise Champion Dalmations for years and is a judge. One of her dogs is on the AKC's VISA card. :D

The Innova people have asked about using photos of Bimmer, Shiva and Kharma and sent me a release, but my printer is on the fritz and I haven't been able to do anything with it. By the time I get it straightened around, they'll probably have forgotten all about it. :(
