what is the best trickyour dog can do? I am sure that your dog can do more than just one trick, but which one of them is he/se good at?

Snowy: sit pretty. He can stay still for a long long time.
Melon: roll over -used to be her best trick- but now she is getting old, so shake hands is her second best trick.
Barny: ummm, still working on a trick :D

wow! I like the "open door" trick.
Snowy can lock you out of the house -it's not a trick that he does though-, but when I am out and I don't bring him along, he goes nuts and starts to jump and push the door. Iend up being locked out.....

Mine "wave pretty", speak, "go to bed" (this one is Penny's specialty, when I say "go to bed" she lies down with her chin on the floor).

My old dog who is at RB would play dead like a champ. Point at her and say BANG and she would drop and turn over on her back. :D

My middle girl carries objects very well, and will do high five and "sit pretty" (sit up).

My dog's favorite trick is shake hands. I'm working on training more... Giving a paw should not be his only answer to all commands I give. ;)

Doing my taxes. It doesn't sound all that impressive, but my taxes are hard.

My GSP also can lock the dead bolt behind me when I go out. Plus is begging for constant attention is a trick? He has that one down too.

Kaines best tricks are sit pretty, play dead and crawl. We are just now doing touch (he loves this) and hi five.

Geez, if Kaine could only do my taxes....the possibilites.....lol

Riot is only 6 months old so knows limited tricks at the time.. his best ones are; holding anything in his mouth(like that 5$ bill in my previous posts),
he knows high five,
paw,
touch(touches something with his nose),
go to your mat(hes got a bed in the kitchen hes gotta touch with at least one paw when i'm cooking something),
Drink(he drinks on command lol),
wait(my favourite and most used trick of his, very versatile),
"Riot Find" (His Search and Rescue command to air scent a person),
Wheres your dish(he runs to his food dish),
Play Dead(he likes to bite me in the hand before he lays dead.. I guess he wants a reason lol

My black lab/chow mix, who looks like a black lab, can do sit, stay, heel (like a mo' fo), crawl, turn left, turn right, walk backwards, limp like a "bad leg," turn over on his side let or right, open doors, close them, get me a beer, bow, and all in sign language or vocal. Plus, he does math, according to my voice commnands.... Plus other stuff....
Poor baby, is getting old now, I hate to see him getting old.

Teddy knows lots of tricks but I guess his best one is his lay down and stay.

he lays there with his head on the floor and I put a treat about an inch in front of his nose and he just sits there and waits until I say he can have it. LOL but most of the time he is kicking his one back leg like he has a twitch lol

He also does his turns very well :D He's getting better at sit pretty but its hard for him to keep his long body balanced lol

Maddie's best trick is High Five. She makes it look so cool! She knows a lot of tricks, so it was hard to decide. Second is probably roll over and shut the door.
Carly's is sit. All she does is sit and down, but she does it pretty darn well. lol
Missy hasn't fully adjusted yet, so I'm not presuring her, but she shakes and is so sweet.

My old golden retriever, Tigger, was the best balancer. You could balance anything on her nose, and she would hold it there until you told her to get it.

Odin didn't know any tricks, per se, but he had the world's spiffiest "down". Instead of bending his legs and laying down like a normal dog, he would simply jerk both front legs high in the air (almost to his nose!) and let his body plummet to earth like a falling boulder.

Zeus doesn't know any tricks. He knows sit, down, heel, etc., but I don't consider those tricks. I need to teach him something soon!
