Penny and I go for our first herding lesson tomorrow morning.
She has never been on stock, altho she did get to see dogs working last weekend.
I am very excited about it, and of course I will post all the details here when I get back.

Hey! Cool! What is she going to be herding? Do the lessons start out with real, live animals? LOL. Well, this does sound fun. I can't wait to hear how it all goes. Good luck! (pictures would be fun, once she's in the thick of things)

We will be starting on sheep, and likely will do ducks at some point.

Good luck! I can't wait to start herding with Sawyer, but I'm having trouble finding a herding clinic within a drivable distance.
Edit that, I finally found a listing...Ad Astra Farms over in Lawrence...I was looking at them when I was 'shopping' for an Aussie. Good people.
