Anyone ever had one of these dogs? I think they are so beautiful. I was just wondering if anyone had any first hand knowledge of this type of dog. I go through phases where I get obsessed about learning about one type of breed and then I learn as much as I can and then I eventually find another one that interests me that I want to learn about. The Briard is my dog of learning for the month.

Other dogs I have been obsessed with learning about were:
German Shepherd
Bernese Mountain Dog
Greater Swiss Mountain Dog
Newfoundland
Maremma Sheepdog

Geesh, I really need a farm. But anyway all that is really neither here nor there. So, any info on the Briard is much appreciated by my forever expanding, doggie interested mind. ;)

Here is a site that shows good pics of them. They are so pretty, and they are supposed to be really sweet.

Check out www.molosserdogs.com . Not only is there some info on Briards, but there are enough breeds you've never heard of to drive you to Breed of the Week instead of Breed of the Month! :D
