Everyone should participate. Write one post about a chaz member who has touched you in some way. I know that most of us have many friends here or even if they aren't good friends they have still meant a lot to us.
'Tis always the season for sharing, love and kindness ;)
Renee. You are a rock for this community. You make everyone feel better about themselves and you handle every situation with such grace.
You are my southern sis. ;) My dear friend. You talk me through the tough days and you make me laugh. I hope I can do half as much for you!

Scarlette, (Love4Pits) you are probably one of the coolest people I know. You speak your mind and would defend your dogs to the death I have no doubt. :D I love your passion and you make me laugh. I still think I should come up (over?) and visit you some day.
I hope you realize what an integral part of Chaz you are and stick around forever.

I have to say Renee. Goodness knows, the woman has had to read; bitching, moaning, and laughing over the past few months of puppy-hood with Brutus.
Thank god she knew what I was going thru and how to remedy the situations.
Don't get me wrong he has been one of the best puppys I have ever had. But,there were a few times... I was convinced he was the direct seed of satan.

Smkie you are on of a kind and I know I'm not the only one that feels that way. You are so special. You always have something going on in your life but you manage to be a great mom/friend/person no matter what. That's a sure sign of a quality person. I miss you when you are gone and look forward to your posts and really feel for you when things aren't going well. You have such a great heart.
I just think Renee is the very best. I always have...I always will. love lots of you, but she ranks as my numero uno. :) :) :)

Debi always shows kindness, acceptance, tolerance & understanding. You always have nice things to say. I can tell that you are truly a good person and I love you bunches!!!!!!!!!!!
Saje is always there to lend a helping hand, whether it be about our precious fur friends or our personal lives. I love how genuine and true you are Saje. I think you're a sweetie and I love you lot's!!!!

Im still new here so I dont know everyone that well but the one person who's caught my attention is the poster who goes by "grammy"? Her avatar is a big golden retreiver. Why she has caught my attention is because she reminds me of my grandmother... nice, thoughtful, and honest :)

I have to thank Mordy for all of her wisdom about dog foods and dogs in general. It seems like since I joined Chazhound I have learned something every day that I read.
Also many thanks to all the mods, and other people who are willing to answer even the most inane questions on a daily basis and to be so kind about it.

I have a few so here they are in no particular order:
Renee: no matter what you were always there. When my barn burned and I lost everything that was near and dear to me, you made me open my eyes and see my family. Even to this day you are the one I PM or email if I need to hear kind words. You are my saviour!
Saje: always there, and stood by me when I needed support most. You brought me back from the depths of he!!.
GermanSheperdGurl [Lisa] my best friend, my confident, my soul mate. Always there, even til wee hours of the morning. A phone call away when I needed you, no matter the time. I have shared the happiest times of my life with you and the saddest. That is the makings of a true friend.
Zoom & Ash: when I was trying to rescue a dog you both were there willing to do anything it took to help. Even though it did not work out I will always remember your acts of kindness.
BigDog: you shared some of your difficulties with Rocky with me and I shared Yukon with you. I know you helped me with some of my frustration, I sure hope I did the same for you.
Nedium, Scobe, Dakotah, Richie & Sheba: you may be youngsters in age but your maturity far out weighs that number. You made me learn what communication and respect was all about. Thank you
Puckstop: you taught me to open my mind a wee bit! Always willing to debate but also to end with shaking hands, never a fight! I appreciate posting with and against you. :D
GSDMom: you allowed me to email you every 10 seconds when I thought Hope was pregnant. Thank you for never once losing patience!
filarotten: always there with a kind word and a gentle hand.
JoyfulRoy: we became friends and started IMing on occasion. Great to share stories about our 4 leggers.
OldDog: although she does not post often when she does it is worth reading. Thank you for teaching me to turn away when the battle was to hot and try another day.
There are many many here who have affected my life in many different ways both good and bad. There are some here who have become close friends, acquaintances, and quiet reminders. No one here has become an enemy and no one has made me feel the emotion of hate. This is the thirds dog forum I joined and it was the first that I called home. Thank you to all of the admin, mods, and members for allowing me to join the family of dog lovers.

Yeah, Mordy helps everyone and everyone's dogs. Just think of all the dogs who are better off because of her! That's alotta dogs :D
Questions are important and I think everyone appreciates someone who asks! I know I do. :D
BigDog, you are one of my favourite 'kids' although you aren't really a kid at all. You are so mature (more than me sometimes - most times?) You are bright, capable and you love rocky so much. I love talking to you and think you are going to change the world.
Scob, you make me laugh with your craziness, your weird avatars and funny thoughts... I adore people that don't follow the norm and you are definitely unique. You are an important member of this community too. You are very creative and confident and I know you've helped some members through hard times. You're a great person and I hope you stick around Chaz. We love having you here.
Tcreed and Dante :D I love you both. I don't know why but Dante has really stood out for me. I love his name, his look and the stories you tell. You guys both have great characters. :) I'm so glad he's feeling better.

Smkie you are probley one of the only people I really and truly look up to. I think you are an old soul with alot of love to give. Im not sure how to explain it but I have always felt like we were kindred spirits :).
Shara (Saje) my bestfriend! And when I say it I mean it you have been there for me more then most. You are always there to make me laugh and distract me from work lol but I love it. I truly cherish our friendship.
Louie (Gustav) though she isn't ever on anymore and I almost never talk to her anymore I still love her. My twin sister ;) we are far too much alike to the point where it is almost scary.
Renee no one can ever hate you lol. I remember you were one of the first that I met on here (along with Saje) who I thought to myself "I really like this person". You are so level headed and so much more mature than me in the sense that I almost look to you as the older sister I always wanted but never had ;). In a nutshell I just love you!
There are others im just pressed for time but I will write more later.

You are all my extended family and make a Grammy very proud !! I love the youngsters who turn to me when they feel they can't ask some very personal questions to their parents. I love those who can appreciate what my past may equal their problems. I am a giver, that's why I love this forum. The best of both worlds ...my love for dogs and good people. At this point, though I'm not excluding anyone, I feel a special bond with Debi.... maybe because she's only about 20 yrs younger and has gone though ( and going through) so many things I have. Grammy you are always so level headed and wise. How could anyone not trust you to give advice. Although you and I haven't spoken directly very much I still read all your posts and gain more knowledge from you than you will ever realize. Not only about dogs but about life and what really matters in it.

Oc I love you and Canadian K9 too. I did not forget you, just did not know how to put it into words. You both have helped me extensively with Hope and with getting my breeding ideas organized. Both awesome people and I wish you the best of luck with your relationship. How could it not be a match made in heaven? I mean you are both saints.
Blue, I love blue. I think he's one of the wittiest people on this forum and he has such a great way of making people stop and think. He makes me laugh a lot and he shows his kind heart to members just when they need it most. You're a swell guy Blue. I don't know but I think the word 'swell' describes you well. :D
Buckshot, I miss BS. One of a kind!! Too too funny. Clever. Wise. And just when you think he's going to go too far he turns it around and there's the joke! lol. Ok maybe I'm the only one that sees it that way.

I remember when you first came on I was in a argument with someone and you took on that authority figure way about you and pretty much told me that the person was getting what he/she wanted by making me upset and I should just ignore the whole situation. It surprised me later to find out how young you were and I was instantly impressed. Can you tell I have a soft spot for you?
BigDog you have worked with and done more for Rocky then most kids your age would. And so you have definatly impressed me and have grown to be one of my favorites :).

Sunny i feel exactly the same way about you....i have such respect for you..your efforts with the boys and your warm embracing heart. You know i do....i was the lonesomest pup in the whole wide world..jim gone..house gone..and whimper whimper by best Bronki ripped right from my heart..my friends mostly moved away...I love my mom but you know..that can't be your whole world..that or your children no matter how much you love them. Then i found Chaz..can't explain how but you healed a very hurt soul. I love you all more each and every day. i have never ever had a community of people like what i have found here..people that can see past themselves and their own lives..can support, share, grieve, and laugh with each other. i can't imagine where i would be if i hadn't found this site. you all have made my life sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much better. you make me happy!

Renee- I couldn't ask for a more wonderful person to help me through everything you've helped me with. From Rocky to personal things at home, you've always been there. You're a real Godsend. And you're the best, Renee. I mean that. :)
Saje- You're probably one of the best friends I've ever had. Seriously. Internet and real life. Pathetic, eh? ;) You're a really fun person to talk to, you're my IM buddy and you're always there when I need help. Always willing to talk. You're awesome.
Love4Pits- I gotta say, I admire you a lot. You do a lot of great for your dogs, and they always come first. If I were a dog, I would want you to be my owner. And you're a really great person, I see that in the way you treat your dogs and the way your life style is I wouldn't be surprised if your secret identity was superwoman. =)
Nedim- You're a cool dude. I related to you very well, and I consider you a friend. I enjoyed talking to you...
BabyBlue- You're a really cool person to have a big discussion with. I like how you stick by your opinions no matter who the person is your opposing with your views. You stand up for what you believe in, and that's a wonderful characteristic.
Debi- You are so awesome. Really. You're a fun person to talk to, you always offered help when you felt it was needed, and you're generally just a great friend. I also love your decorations and arts & crafts. :)
Zoom- You are tres funny. You add a great new spice to the forum, and I tend to agree with almost everything you say. Stay coo'.
Blue- You add a fun spicy, witty characteristic to Chazhound and I always find myself rushing to see what you've posted. You're a generally fun, understanding person to talk to as well. I see that in the chat and your posts.

I haven't been around long enough to really, REALLY get to know many of you well, but do "know" a few. I won't even start a name list, because I have a hideous memory and I'm sure to forget somebody.
I will say that I've chatted with CanadianK9 quite a bit, he's a great guy (with good musical taste, LOL). I've also heard he's quite a gentleman in real life. :D
Hmmmm, all the "youngsters" on here, can't tell you how much I appreciate their contributions. What a level headed, mature, group they are.
Those who bluntly speak their minds, those who don't, and those who tactfully say what they mean..... All part of what makes this a great forum. :)

Well, I guess I must revise my first post. I only mentioned one. I was following directions...(just joking)
I can only say each and every person on chaz has touched my life in someway. Some have given great joy, others have made me push the brain cells to the limit in defense. Overall it has been a rewarding experience, and I enjoy (ok,I'm addicted..I admit it) each and everyone of you. I have learned so much about food, puppy training and gosh, even recipes. You are my cyber friends without any threat. Cool! I have to tell you. My husband freaked out when I first joined this forum.(My son said it was because he was afraid I would run away with greatdane 96) lol. It was so unlike me. But, I knew I needed help and a refresher course in puppy 101. It had been 7 years since I had a puppy. If I named everyone at chaz that has helped me I would run out of space. Not to leave anyone out...but I have to give recognition to a few others.
Keyodie-your talent amazes me at such a young age. Girl you have got it going on. I see a bright future for you.
Germanshepardgurl-Lisa-You basically held my hand through a rough night when Brutus ate my lilly. I will forever be grateful.

I can't even begin to single people out because you ALL mean so much to me! But if I had to single someone out, I guess it would be Nedim. As well as many other of our younger posters. So wise and worldly with their wisdom. So open to sharing with others here with the issues they're going through. Smkie is such a kind, loving, and giving person. Debi is freakin' hilarious. Saje has always been there for me and reigned me in when needed ;) . Love4Pits is always a joy. Blue... is my hearthrob :) . BigDog and Richie are the best, too. I didn't want to start listing people because I can't even begin to list who all means the most because you ALL do! And it's so fun to have Grammy on here too. This is going to take some serious consideration to say exactly what i feel..First and foremost..Dearest Chaz..without you i could never have met this community of wonderful people. i know you are quiet, but i also know you are always there to keep the peace, to keep the forum running smoothly, you are there with your care and love. You mean the world to me for the gift you have given all of us.
Saje, Renee, Grammy, Debi, and BArb you were the first ones to welcome me and let me know that i had value to offer this forum. You not only made me welcome, you became my dearest friends..in a long hard and often loney life this is the greatest gift..your exceptance has helped me grow more confident and to realize how much of the world i was letting slip by in my sorrows. YOu rode some rough waters with me, i love you for ever and for always.
Love4Pits...ahhh my girl such a woman you are. Respect? i couldn't begin to say how highly i think of you. Your dedication, your stories, your energy come through your words and fill my mind with such goodness and images for my mind to see. CT when i grow up i want to be as unselfish as you. For those that post mostly in the Gallery, torazmojo..through you i know there is heaven on earth..especially if you are lucky enough to be a dog. Your pictures are like opening a book..a very very very good book about how life should be.

The art gallery has given me an outlet that i sorely needed..to be able to share my truest essence and see the expressions of other artists (something i miss terribly since i left art school) i do not have an art community where i live. I looked at other dog forums and did not find this anywhere. When i get down on my efforts i can see Cyrille and Katja..and keep pluggin away to improve..i can look at Babyblues, and sunnypup and remember why i love to do this in the first place..bless you all for sharing your art..it means more then you will ever know.
As soon as i stop i am going to think of this person and that person.. this would end up being a book an inch thick. Gaddy and Iris, you held my hand when i thought life would drive me nuts for sure.we worried about others as well..you have always been there for me and that is priceless. To all my chazster friends, i am forever grateful for your friendship. I once wrote i found a treasure..even then i didn't know just how rich i would become. Losing my computer for a month showed me just how much i really have gained by being here. It is good to be back:D

me toooooo Breeze and Moe.Fran and Cloesowner.there are just too many to name. Just as soon as i stop i think oh and where is Breeze? i wonder how she is doing....sigh i adore all the younger members and truely enjoy hearing from them. It keeps me in touch with what so many grownups drift away from..and forget that these young people will be our successors (sp?) and knowing what good people they are keeps me optimistic about the future. They are funny and bright..and have a huge amount of compassion not only for each other but for older foggies like me!
I thought last night..even old Blue tacky hehe. if it wasn't for our little debate i never would have come up with one of my favorite drawings.The don't taunt the rabbit in a fuzzy bunny world sketch. hehe

Wow, what a nice thread...esp. during the holidays! I have come to love all of you and the advice, knowledge, experience, love of animals and etc.... Thanks Boxermom (I can't say/write enough) for your pm's about my "Chase," and all the others who responded to me and gave me a shoulder to cry on. Whitewitchthone, you rock!
There are many I got along with, and some I didn't (at first), but I think in the end, "it was all good!" I am glad we "got through" the crap and realized that we are all here for a reason. I often wonder, if we were under different circumstances, like meeting face to face, it would have been different. I am not the best person to write and getting what I want to say across during a debate.
I have come to really enjoy everyone here and love learning, since I believe we all learn constantly about animals. I love to read the happy posts, and it breaks my heart when I hear a sad ones.
I have really come to respect and like the Mods., thanks for your hard work and advice.

My suggestion to cure your sadness is to turn your attention to helping those in need. So you could use all your computer skills to make me a big fuzzywuzzy card with little puppies and cute stuff to welcome me here, and then you wouldn't be sad any more.:)

Sorry, I guess that was a little extreme. But I too enjoy everyone here, and thanks to chaz for giving me someplace to vent and share. I have tried a few other dog forums and they seemed so cold. Yes it is, and with a small bladder, I have learned to do both at the same time. lol. I have switched things around a bit, but my signature pee is now my avatar. lol so, I am still multi-tasking. lol, Hey that just gave me an idea....check out a new thread I am about to post....I will name it multi-tasking.

I'm not going to list people - I don't want to leave anyone out - I've found nearly everyone on Chazhound great, this place has such a family feel - and 'Chaz' definitely deserves that Warm and Fuzzy award for setting up such a good forum. Happy New Year everyone!!!

Luckily for me when I was searching for dog forums this was the first place that came up :D I haven't really been to any other dog sites except one briefly. I know I couldn't find another place like this no matter how hard I looked :D

took me a year to be brought there..Grammy! your in good company. I cant read all posts..i scan the fire hydrant a couple times a day and dog chat..let my eyes scan down to see if there is anything i might know that could add to the basic knowledge..check the art forum. That is all i can do but i have recently been introduced to the chat and it is a great deal of fun. so you might try it sometime!
