I'm sorry. I'm not aware of a "Mini Bulldog" or a "Mini English Bulldog." I have never heard of them.
Could this be what you are talking about? This is a Mini Bull Terrier.

Ohh ok. Well it's great that you are researching! Lots of people don't do that before taking on dog ownership. Really sorry I can't help you with your situation. I am sure someone else here would be more than happy to oblige to answering your questions. :)

I had never heard of mini bulldogs until your post. In checking it out the link I noticed that this "breed" was started in the 1980's. I did notice that none were shown to be AKC registered which I would assume means that they are not recognized as a breed nor a size variety. My 1st impression is that they have purposely breed the smaller ones of the original size until they have come up with a smaller variety. I'm not sure how healthful that is and would do alot more research if it were me. I have heard that there have been many health problems with many other breeds that this has been done to such as teacup poodles, etc. From what I have heard the bulldog breed does have a variety of health issues that responsible breeders actively work at eliminating and I would be afraid these breeders are worrying more about the new size than the other issues just like the ones who breed the "designer" breeds - more interested in lining their pockets with money rather than actually bettering the breed of their choice.

I'm so glad you are doing your research! If only more people would before they buy on impulse... I haven't had any experiance with this breed, I just wanted to say that after doing the research, if you decide this dog is for you be very selective when choosing a breeder! I'm no expert, but I wonder how a dog can thrive when there confirmation doesn't look like they can run even. Some of these may as well be good breeders, I wouldn't know, but always be wary.

Hi!

I agree with Brattina88, research + good breeder = happy owner and dog. I haven´t heard about tons of things which are going on in usa from everything miniature to labradoodles (and everything else that falls in doodles and similar).

People are constantly trying to breed something new like through history thats why we have soo many breeds. I don´t know how it is in USA but I haven´t heard about doodles in europe. You have 3 different sizes of schnauzers, miniature pinchers, shelties (smaller version of rough collies?) and all this breeds don´t mean backyard breeding.

so far ive read that with this mini breed they have bred out most of the breathing problems related with bulldogs. their normally 20-40 punds and stand 12-14 inches. all it is is a small version of an english bulldog and it seems like most breeders know what their talking. i hope they know what their doing seeing as how most of them sell from 1200-1700 each

Before you start contacting breeders, I would read this link.
