No! A adult dog can love you just as much as a puppy. If you dont care what breed, please rescue!

I have two friend both who have pit bulls from the Toronto Humane Society that they got as adults. These dogs are the SWEETEST, and most loving dogs!
Although I love my little puppy I think if I ever get a second dog it would be an adult.

I think adult dogs love you as much, if not more because you've given them a second chance. It took Serene a while to warm up to us, but once she realized she wasn't going to be hit anymore, or abandonned, she became incredibly loving and loyal!

Most of my German Shepherds have been adult rescues and I could never ask for more loving, loyal, wonderful, well-mannered or more perfect companions.

I rescued my great dane from a shelter.
Adults or puppies they will give you the same unconditional love.
However saying this it seems that the adult dogs are more aware of thier surroundings meaning that they realise you rescued them I don't know it just seems like they do.
There more grateful and affectionate and there so loving.
Well I know my baby is. It would be really good if you rescued a dog it saves thier lives and the life of another animal who can take the kennel of the dog you rescued. :D
SO RESCUE AWAY :p
