I was wondering if anyone has used the Puppy littler box system? I have 4 Chihuahua's who are inside dogs and was thinking about trying it out and was wondering if it works or not? Please let me know if you have tried it and if it worked? Thanks a lot!!

I've never heard of the puppy litter system, but it sounds like a good idea. When my Mom first brought Katie, her little Rat Terrier, home as a puppy, she already had Gracie, her new kitten. For weeks Katie thought she was a cat and used Gracie's litter box.

Oh yes it does. We were thinking of doing that, we decided on taking Luke out though.

Anyone with further information on this please write. I am going to purchase a chihuaha, but I live in a condo that does not allow dogs. If someone could give me some good training tips on how to make this happen I can actually get my dog.

I did some searching on the net and thought this could help you with your litter training. I am going to take their advice.

If dogs are not allowed in a condo, how would you explain the barking to your landlord? Chihuahua's are easily excitable and like to bark. I grew up with them, and everytime someone knocked at our dog they were the first ones there letting us know. Will they allow it, if its liter trained?

I've also heard of folks training their dogs to use the litter box but I haven't done that either, I wanted to but my mom said it would be too messy. My Chihuahua is trained to go on newspapers and that seems to work fine.

hi, when my mate had a puppy she trained it in a cat litter box but she said that her dog kept putting the litter out of the box and onto the carpet and took ages to get it out but in the end she just put a little cat flap on back door so it could just go into the gardern!! i hope that helped any one xxx :D

Hi,
Just saw your entry and thought you might be interested in checking out my website, I have written an ebook on how to litter box train your dog and I don't recommend using litter, it is really messy, I recommend using newspaper or puppy pads, it is so much easier and cleaner. Check it out, if you like:
