Hi all
I posted this earlier, but in the wrong thread i guess. I have a older aussie mix (about 8 or 9)that needs a home that will love her. She would be best with an older person or couple who isn't very active, as she was hit by a car a few years ago and has a limp. She's very loving and just wants to sit by her human and chew on her toys quietly.
She was my moms dog, I have her now as my mom has since passed.
I've tried looking for local aussie rescues and the one that I found told me to look some where else as she was in southern cali and I'm in nor cali. She didn't give me any more info about where to search either...
Can any one give me some web sites that I can search or maybe some one here would love to take her? We are in Northern California near Sacramento. I figure that she would be happier with some one who isn't as active as myself. As she can't go hiking or anything like that due to her limp.

Have no worries, as I will never take her to a shelter.

My avatar has a current pic of Dakota

Would you be able to speak to your vet about finding her a good home. My vet has a bulletin board where you can post things.

Yeah, that might help you find a home for Dakota. Good luck!
