when i let my puppy outside the backyard to do his bussiness or to play and train. he goes around finding small objects such as leafs or what ever and starts chewing them, if its to hard to chew sometimes he spits it back out but if its a leaf or a paper towel or things he thinks he can swollow., he sometimes swollows it.

is it ok for him to do this? or what should i do to make him stop.

Ah, the joys of puppy hood! :) When mine where pups and they eat something inappropriate I'd normally scoop it out of their mouth at the same time tell them "drop it". Since then they've learnt to drop it on command. It wouldn't hurt him if he accidentally swallowed a bit of it but it's not something he should get accustom of doing.

I miss little puppies. Princess always had this thing for rocks. Gracie would chase after blowing leafs. lol, I want another puppy!

Actually, is this a real "command"? I just read on another thread to say loudly "ouch" when your puppy has hurt you and that it signals playtime is over because of that.

yup, it amounts to the yelp a littermate would give if bitten too hard and teaches proper bite inhibition. :)
