Your dog looks like a pit mix maybe with shepherd?
I see Shar Pei in her.. Maybe it's just the nose.

I kinda see shepherd too. deffinetly pit but looks like something else mixed in. hard to say, could be lab or could be a dozen different breeds. my guess would be pit x shepherd. adorable and such a sweet face.

He has kind of big feet - and hence, getting too big for a pure pit bull in my eyes. Pit bulls aren't supposed to be big dogs, but I know some people are bulking them up into freaks. Also, the legs look light for a heavy dog. Maybe some hound mixed in there? Very terrier face, that wrinkled brow and deep-set eyes, short muzzle. I'd say a pit bull terrier mix, heavy on the terrier and light on the bulldog.

It looks like a mix, but it depends on the blood lines and how reputable the breeder was.

Yeah she's not totally built like a Pittie. Looks like a mix though and she is beautiful. I own three Pitbulls and can't get enough of their personalities.

The mother and father look aweful they are racks of bones with skin stretched over them. How could anyone have a picture like that on their website? I would be so embarrassed to show those pictures. Check out that chain........sure boosts well for the pit reputation doesn't it. GRRRRRRRRRR that is a tragedy.
Your pup is cute but I have to agree pit/shepherd.

Your pup probably comes from the same descendants as the current bull breeds...but, just naturally branched out along the way.;) Keep in mind that purebred dogs are only mixed breeds that have been in a structured breeding program for a few years (some a few decades). I could create a pure bred dog within the next 10 years or less if I wanted.
So, in my way of thinking I would call your pup a pit type dog as you can pretty well guarantee your pup is not a part of the current purebred breeding programs. If the dog has papers with a kennel club, tatto or microchip then the dog is part of an artificial purebred dog breeding program. If your pup has none of the above it would be safe to say Pit type dog. Your pup may be from a long line of non purebred dogs and perhaps has never had a purebred in his lineage;)

Yeah, the big chains are supposed to strengthen their muscles, but it does more damage than anything!!
Are you from the Philipines? I swear I've seen those pictures posted on here before as a "check out this horrible breeder" type thread...

I love it!! She is so sweet looking. We've always wondered if our Rocky had a little bit of Pit in him. He is mostly Boxer, but mixed with something else.

If your dog is from fighting lines, he is likely to be dog-aggressive. Don't take that lightly. He doesn't need to be offleash to be happy.

The mother looks fine, and the father doesn't look that bad to me. Thin, but not starved-looking. My dog was that skinny (judging from the photos, anyway) at around a year, because she was high-strung and nervy. I worried about it, but the vets said she was fine.

I agree with all the GRRRRRRs. Dog fighting is apsolutley sickining. Whoever participates in it or even thinks its okay should be put up agensnt a lunatic serial killer...while on fire....in a patch of razor sharp spikes...on a leash thats coated with angrey hornets.

The dogs to me dont look starved they are lean but not thin. Believe Ive seen way worse looking dogs where you can see every bone in their body.
I believe that dogs can be over wieght as well.
As for the huge chain, the owner of that male has some serious issues. And also, I would never purchase a dog from breeders that breed specifically for dog fighting, instead of rescuing puppy, you just further supported the dog fighting system. Sure the dog looks cute but what about the rest of em?
