Hello All, wet and windy greetings from the miserable UK !
I have a 4 month old Cavelier King Charles Spaniel puppy and her name is Maggie. Like me, my children are getting the oppertunity to grow up with a dog in the household. I had a king charles called Snoopy when I was growing up and I love seeing my kids play with maggie. it makes all the wee and poop seem worth while. well sometimes anyway.
I'm here now, begging for any advice on toilet training her, she's very good at night and only leaves a small puddle for me to see to when i wake up, but, she's still weeing and pooing in the living room during the day. I let her outside every half hour and i think she goes, but she still insists on leaving me presents. The trouble is, this is quite a pain because I have young children. So the easiest option is to keep her in the kitchen, but thats not fair, because the kids so love to play with her.
If anyone has any handy hints about stopping her from leaving me these little presents, i would much appreciate it. My parents dealt with snoopy when I was younger, so this is all quite new to me, and a lot harder than I was expecting.
Thankyou, and hello to everyone here.
