should i be concerned

OK IM kinda concerned about my dog i noticed today that on his nose it was kinda torn like a cut on his nose but its like the black part of the nose has shrunken where the cut is

Hmm.. that sounds weird. I would call a vet and enquire about it before making an appointment, and definatly keep an eye on it.
