Hi I was wandering whether any one could help me because I have a very playfull dog however she also has alot of energy which she only releases when she goes for a walk or when somebody plays with her. So I was wandering whether anybody had any ideas or schemes of a way in which I could train her to use her energy to do jobs around the house whihc would help us.
Please can somebody help me!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a border collie mix, and she's pretty full of energy. She's not hyper, so basically the only way she gets rid of her energy is taking walks or running in the yard. But exercising her mind is just important, so I try to train with her every day. I make it fun by using lots of treats and praise. Once she has a new command down well, I go on to a new command. You can make one up if you like :). Right now my girl is learning how to pick things up and put them in certain places and turn left on command (after she knows left, she'll be learning to turn right on command).

Good luck with your pup!! Got any pictures?

I have a border collie. To keep him amused i give him mental stimulation. By hiding things for him to find, learning what each toy is named then find them all, different tricks/commands.... Maybe you can get Jilly into flyball or agility?
