Okay, that's good. My mom always gives Luke bacon as a treat when he goes outside. :rolleyes:

we give Shasta apples as a treat - she loves them. But then she loves all fruits and veggies, especially grapes. (is that what you call a balanced diet? )

There is a small amount of arsenic present in apples seeds. Arsenic is also present in the pits of some fruits; I believe apricots and maybe peaches. I'm not sure how many fruit seeds have it, not many of us are in the habit of eating fruit pits, so it's not something we think about very often.
