Hope its ok to share pics. I got my pup this past weekend. I named her "Adrienne". She's a 6month old Basset Hound. Im so proud of her!! :D

Yes, one is blue and one is brown. I was told just because she has a blue eye dosent mean she's blind in that one eye.. but I dont know :confused: I dont think she is though.

Just curious but why would a blue eye mean she could possibly be blind?

lol ok :D i thought it might be a basset hound, genetic kind of thing cause I know a lot of blue eyed dogs (huskies mainly) that aren't blind.
Your pup is really adorable!

could you not test by putting an eye patch on her brown eye, and test whether she can see through her blue one?

i used to breed bassets hehehe i loved them best dogs next to dobermans possible i think... make great indoor dogs. very easy to potty train. and very good alerters... they dont do alot of protecting but they do alot of alerting heheh i love them good luck with her

I dont think the blue eye has anything to do with blindness, many boxers get blue eyes too and they can see perfectly
i think her eyes make her look so pretty!!!
