I just pulled out 2 ticks from off of Sadie and one JUST settling in on Nora's head. Now, I know, this is common this time of year and I don't have any 'quawms' about getting them out, BUT, Nora now has this big lump scab on her head. Right between the ears. I was thinking its because it's on top of her head and there's not much .. I don't know ... tissue or fat... that made it swell up. She has no reaction to it and I can definately say it's a tall scab. Should I be worried? And I do take precautions, just sometimes the buggers get by. Especially with Nora, she will go through every bush we have looking for those varmits.
