For some reason Pixies face REALLY stinks. And its not her breath her breath smells like a normal dogs breath (not like roses) so its not that. But I sniff her snout or her face in general it just smells skunky. I mean it really smells like a skunk sprayed her in the face. I only smell this if i give her a kiss or if I randomly sniff her face lol. I noticed it first when we brought her home and gave her a bath. And let me tell you when she is wet it is really stinky. When she is dry you only smell it if you get close her face.

She doesent have any dry skin or anything like that on her face and she's clean. So im not sure what it is. Is there anyway I can get rid of the smell? A certain shampoo or home remedy?

Smell her ears. It has to be the ears or the teeth. Check her teeth to make sure no tartar is on them. If it isn't that, the only thing I can think of is the ears. She may have a small infection in them and they need to be cleaned. How old is she? If she is still a pup, she may still just have that "puppy" smell. Most puppies smell so good, but sometimes, they just stink! :)

In addition to what Pro47 suggested... Does she have really teary eyes? Ripley had a lot of problems with excess tearing and they made his face smell really bad. Since I've been cleaning his eyes daily, the smell is more or less gone.

Try smelling near the corners of her eyes. If it's more intense there, try cleaning her eyes every day with a mild cleanser. (I use something called "pretty eyes lotion" that works great.)

Well she is 9 years old and has MOST of her teeth but is missing some or some are chipped or broken but she can still eat. Its not her ears I smelled them and that did'nt smell. But you were right on with the eyes! Thank you! She has those droopy Saint eyes and they do get runny stuff and eye boogers. i will get into the habit of clean them more often. Thanks again :).

Good to know this stuff ahead of time

If the eye boogers are green its probably an infection because infections stink.
