Whats the best stuff to get sap out of fur?
We have tons of pine trees and there is sap everywhere! It's a big problem in the summer when Lucas likes to lay in the dirt right under a tree so he gets sap all over him. I find out when I go to pet or brush him and have sticky fingers lol. So what's the best stuff for sap???

really?? I had no clue what that was so I googled it and it looked like some chemical stuff. Is it safe to put on dogs?

We have the same problem in summer. Our vet said either oil or butter. Let the oil soak for a couple of minutes then wash it off. We use to cut his fur as well because it got too nasty. :)

lol sorry, umm I got some of it out with the butter, but I think I'm going to have to get the denatured alchohol like tail chaser suggested. I hate having this sap all over the place! It gets on all the cars too and it's a pain in the butt to get it off!

It's like mineral oil
My Bad!! Meant to say Mineral Spirits. You can get it at paint stores and the like.
