Mating or Aggression??!!

It all started this morning.
My mom said she saw my Jack Russel dominate
my other dog, a dachschie/toy spaniel mix by standing
over her and pinning her to the floor while my dachschie
mix was laying on her back in submissive pose.
But later today (twice) I saw the Jack Russel stand
over my dachschie mix and it looked as if the JRT was
trying to mate with her! And both the dogs are females
and neutered! Is there something wrong with my Jack Russel?
What should I do?!

Nope, nothing wrong with your pup. She's just telling your other pup that she's the boss. Nothing wrong with telling her to stop though. ;)

Isabel (jack russel) has always
been the boss of 3 other dogs.
Including Veda (dachschie mix).
When we see Isabel doing this sort of behavior,
we squirt her with a spray bottle and tell her
to go in her kennel.

it isnt agression or mating
it is dominance... saying i own you and you are the submissive one... that is what the whole mounting thing is for... my moms dauschound does this to us and the male dog so it isnt agression it is dominance :D hugs

Yes, both of them are spayed.
They're getting better now.
Isabel hasn't felt the need to
do it all day. I'm really proud of her.
I think of my dogs as my kids.
:D
